an intensive, multi-year program aimed at high school youth
who hold academic promise, yet face challenges to educational
achievement.

the official South Carolina business web portal.
SC.gov is the official government Web portal
for the State of South Carolina.
SCIWAY features information about everything
from tourism and history to jobs and real estate.
Palmetto Workforce Connections is an interactive
blog which will allow SCDEW to share up-to-the-minute information
about South Carolina’s workforce.
Project HOPE is a free healthcare training
project for participants receiving TANF or SNAP benefits, low-income
high school Health Science completers and foster youth who are
aging out of the system.
ATTENTION Claimants: Don’t lose your benefits
The S.C. Legislature has changed the requirement for UI Benefits eligibility.
Claimants now must make at least two (2) weekly job search contacts through SC Works Online Services at jobs.scworks.org. You must register with the site and sign on with your username and password for the search to be counted in our system.
If you do not conduct two searches through the SC Works Online System you will not receive payment for the week.
