Through the SC Works center, the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce, the S.C. Department of Social Services, the Commission of the Blind, Adult Education, and the S.C. Department of Vocational Rehabilitation leverage the state’s workforce system by providing services such as career guidance, job referrals, and testing and training to meet the needs of jobseekers, employers and those looking to further their careers.

The Hartsville SC Works Center will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 21-22. Florence SC Works will be temporarily relocated at the Connection Point in the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library (509 South Dargan Street, Florence, SC 29506) from Friday, January 17, to Wednesday, January 22. The Greenwood SC Works Center is closed for the foreseeable future, but staff will be at the United Way of Lakelands office at 929 Phoenix St. from 9 am - 4 pm., Mondays through Fridays.
