Through the SC Works center, the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce, the S.C. Department of Social Services, the Commission of the Blind, Adult Education, and the S.C. Department of Vocational Rehabilitation leverage the state’s workforce system by providing services such as career guidance, job referrals, and testing and training to meet the needs of jobseekers, employers and those looking to further their careers.
The Greenville SC Works center is still closed; however, staff will be stationed at the McAlister Square parking lot near the Eggs Up Grill, along with the SC Works Career Coach, to help with job search services and unemployment filing needs from 8:30-5:00 on Thursday. Goodwill and its Mission Mobile unit will also be onsite. The Greenwood SC Works center is also closed, but staff will be in Greenwood's Main Library on the second floor from 9:00-5:00 on Thursday to help with job search services and unemployment filing needs.
