The retrainSC program incentivizes upskilling and training by allowing South Carolina manufacturing, processing, tech-intensive, and warehousing and distribution companies to utilize the Job Retraining Tax Credit. Upon approval by the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education, participating companies may be reimbursed for eligible out-of-pocket training and education expenses, up to $1,000 per eligible employee per calendar year.
