  • Tax Credits
    • Tax credits and other incentives are available to businesses hiring new employees. Depending on the nature of the job and industry, as well as the status of the employees hired to fill the jobs, incentives such as apprenticeship tax credits, federal bonding, or work opportunity tax credits may be available. Visit the Business Tax Credits page for more information.
  • Know more about workforce assessments
    • Workforce assessments can be a great resource for businesses seeking the ideal candidate to fill a position. SC Works participants are encouraged to take assessments which identify skills, interests and values when it comes to finding the right job. With access to this data, businesses can compare the necessary skills for a position with the skills of an applicant in order to get a better idea of what that candidate will bring to the table.
