All adult education programs offer instruction to prepare students to successfully pass a High School Equivalency (HSE) examination. South Carolina offers test-takers two HSE examination options in the award of a secondary education credential—the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC) or the General Educational Development (GED) test.
