If I am an eligible training provider, am I guaranteed referrals from SC Works? Does placement on the ETPL guarantee that my training program will receive WIOA funds?
No. Inclusion of a training provider and its programs on the ETPL is not an entitlement for a prospective student to receive funding from a Local Workforce Development Board (LWDB) or an SC Works Center, nor a requirement that any referrals are made to the training provider.
A WIOA participant who has been determined to be eligible for training services may select a training provider and program from the ETPL after consultation with appropriate SC Works staff.
The selection of an appropriate provider is a mutual decision made by the SC Works Career counselor and the prospective student. Inclusion of a training provider on the ETPL and designation as approved by the local workforce areas does not guarantee or require that the local workforce center must make any referrals to the training provider.
Who do I contact if I have questions or need more information about PATh or the ETPL?
Please submit your questions via email to scetplsupport@dew.sc.gov
Are there additional resources available to assist providers in navigating and submitting information in PATh?

Please note: State staff only check applications for completeness and compliance. Each training provider and program must be approved by at least one local workforce development board to be eligible for WIOA-funded students.
