To provide guidance on the types of centers and access points available through the SC Works system.

To issue State guidance regarding the granting of SC Works Online System {SCWOS) privileges to SC Works partner staff. This guidance replaces State Instruction 11-04.

To inform South Carolina Works Online Services (SCWOS) staff users of recent changes to the Terms and Conditions to include revised and additional definitions, rules, rights, and conditions.

To provide guidance to the South Carolina workforce system on the roles and responsibilities of the management structure involving Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) staff in the SC Works Centers.

To issue State policy concerning the protection of SC Works Online Services (SCWOS) Staff Credentials, as it relates to system security and data integrity.

To provide policy guidance regarding the collection and use of social security numbers for individuals accessing Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) programs.

To establish state guidelines for compliance with Section 195(1) of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and 29 CFR part 37, section 37.42

To transmit updates to federal income guidelines used in establishing eligibility for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) participation and/or specific WIOA services.
